Load a game
Supports .nds, .dsi, .srl and .zip (containing a DS ROM). Dumped from cartridges you own.
Just set the file's sharing in Drive to “Anyone with the link can view” first (right-click the file → Share → General access). It downloads through this site's own proxy — no Google Cloud setup needed. Truly private files can't be fetched without sign-in; the optional panel on the right covers those.
If a game boots to a black screen or runs slowly, reload and try a different core. Saves are kept per-game in your browser — use the emulator menu (bottom bar) to export/import save files.
Your library
Games you load are kept in this browser so Drive imports only download once. Stored only on this device.
Google Drive Picker (optional)
Only needed for files that stay private. Share links (left) need none of this.
How to get the keys (one-time setup)
- Open the Google Cloud Console and create a project (any name, e.g. “DS Web”).
- Under APIs & Services → Library, enable Google Drive API and Google Picker API.
- Under APIs & Services → Credentials → Create credentials → API key, copy it into the API Key field above.
- Then Create credentials → OAuth client ID → Web application. Under Authorized JavaScript origins add
this site's origin. Copy the Client ID above. - On the OAuth consent screen, set it to External, add the
drive.readonlyscope, and add your own Google email as a Test user (that skips Google's app verification — it's your personal app). - Save the keys here, then tap Browse Drive (Picker — private files). Google may warn “unverified app” — choose Advanced → Go to DS Web; that's expected for a personal project.
No App ID field is needed — it's derived automatically from your Client ID. Your keys and ROMs never go to any server I control; the Picker and download run directly between your browser and Google.
Controls
D-Pad: Arrow keys A/B/X/Y: X Z S A L/R: Q W Start: Enter Select: Shift Touch screen: mouse / finger. On phones, an on-screen gamepad appears automatically. Gamepads are supported too.
Tip: use the emulator's bottom toolbar for save states, full screen, screenshots and exporting your save file. Closing the tab is safe — in-game saves persist in this browser for the same game name + core.
